How Users Opt In to SMS Messaging:

Users may opt in to receive SMS messages by:

• Filling out a Connect Card online or when they visit the church.

• Verbal Consent

  • In addition, verbal consent may be obtained when a customer provides their phone number during a phone call or in-person conversation and is clearly informed that they will receive SMS messages from the business.
    Customers are informed of the message purpose, frequency, and that message and data rates may apply. Verbal consent is documented internally and may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on user interaction, but users can expect 8-10 messages per month.
